The 2024-2025 Chlor-Alkali Industry Review has just been launched in time for Euro Chlor’s series of meetings and Annual General Assembly on 10-11 September 2025.

This year the publication focuses on how European Chlor-Alkali is at a pivotal moment. Its first introduction piece from Euro Chlor Manager, Marleen Pauwels, outlines how Europe's Chlor-Alkali industry has faced unprecedented changes in recent years. Whilst there remain many issues ahead of us, there are also opportunities for our sector. She also introduces her successor, Richy Mariner, as Euro Chlor Manager since she is moving on.

The second introduction piece from Interim Chair of the Management Committee, Jan Nouwen of BASF, thanks outgoing Chair Daniel Koch of Covestro and outlines how he is prepared to tackle the changes the sector is facing in a rapidly changing environment and complex geopolitical landscape..

The Industry Review publication, first produced some 30 years ago, covers the most important industry information from the past year with key stories, updates and figures. It also features the latest highlights from the four Mid-Century Strategy priorities of Safety Leader, Competitive Supplier, Climate Neutral Player and Circularity Champion. Two additional sections give updates on Communication & Collaboration and Halogens family activities.
