Despite the higher make and low exports, the January
caustic soda stocks only increased to 269,129 tonnes, i.e. an
increase of 10.4% compared to the previous month (December 2010:
243,693 tonnes), and 6,183 tonnes less than in January 2010
(275,312 tonnes).
Details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks
in the EU-27 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in January 2011
are provided in the following tables.
