The May caustic soda stocks stood at 234,405 tonnes, an
8.3% decrease compared to the previous month (April 2011: 255,642
tonnes), and 26,265 tonnes less than in May 2010 (260,670
tonnes).
Details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks
in the EU-27 countries plus Norway and Switzerland in May 2011 are
provided in the following tables.
