August 2014 Chlorine production

In August the European chlorine production reached 798,356 tonnes.  With 25,753 tonnes, the August average daily production was 4.6% below the level of the previous month (July 2014: 27,006 tonnes), but 1.8% higher than in August 2013 (25,292 tonnes).

With 253,117 tonnes, the August caustic soda stocks were 3.7% higher than in the previous
month (July 2014: 244,163 tonnes), but 9,334 tonnes below the level of August 2013 (262,451 tonnes).
