January 2015 Chlorine production

The January European chlorine production stood at 816,292 tonnes.  With 26,332 tonnes, the January average daily production was 1.1% above the level of the previous month (December 2014: 26,044 tonnes), but 0.4% lower than in January 2014 (26,450 tonnes).

With 255,830 tonnes, the January caustic soda stocks were 2.5% higher than in the previous
month (December 2014: 249,515 tonnes), but 10,249 tonnes below the level of January 2014 (266,079 tonnes).
