The 2022-2023 Chlor-alkali Industry Review has just been launched in time for Euro Chlor’s series of meetings around its Annual General Assembly on 6-8 September 2023. This year the publication focuses on how Euro Chlor can remain safe and competitive while achieving climate neutrality. Its first introduction piece from Euro Chlor Manager, Marleen Pauwels, outlines the progress made in several areas such as combatting the energy crisis in 2022, as well as the PFAS REACH Restriction proposal. The second introduction piece from Chairman of the Management Committee, Johan Van Den Broeck, gives more details on Euro Chlor’s strategic priorities to move Euro Chlor along its Transition Pathway.

The Industry Review, first produced almost 30 years ago, covers the most important industry information from the past year with key stories, updates and figures. It also covers the latest highlights from the four Mid-Century Strategy priorities of Safety Leader, Competitive Supplier, Climate Neutral Player and Circularity Champion. Two additional sections give Collaboration & Outreach and Halogens Industry Sector News activities.
