April 2026 Chlorine production

In April 2026, the European chlorine production reached 629,642 tonnes. With 20,988 tonnes, the April 2026 average daily production was 3.9% higher than in the previous month (March 2026: 20,205 tonnes) and 3.3% higher than in April 2025 (20,315 tonnes).

With 204,275 tonnes, the April 2026 caustic soda stocks were 3.9% higher than in the previous month (March 2026: 196,617 tonnes) and 22,846 tonnes above the level of April 2025 (181,429 tonnes).

The following tables give the details of chlorine production and caustic soda stocks in the EU-27 countries plus Norway, Switzerland, and the UK April 2026.
