On 25 September, Euro Chlor launched its new 17 Connections interactive tool, revealing how the four foundational Chlor-Alkali chemicals are interconnected across 17 value chains that support everyday life in Europe.

Now, we are taking a closer look at these connections through a series of application stories. Our first story follows something we all depend on every day: safe drinking water. From lake to kitchen tap, a single drop of water passes through several stages before it is ready to drink. 

Chlor-Alkali chemistry plays an important role in this drinking water treatment, helping to disinfect water and protect public health with many connected chemicals and processes.
