Markus Mingenbach, Senior Vice President Chlor-Alkali at Nobian, has taken over as new interim Chair of the Euro Chlor Management Committee as of their meeting in Brussels, Belgium on 01 April 2026.

Markus will take over as Chair at the Euro Chlor General Assembly on 10 September and will hold the position for the coming two years. He joined Nobian in 2023 and has held several management roles in a variety of companies in Europe and Asia. Markus holds an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and a business degree from Universiteit Maastricht in the Netherlands. 

He takes over from Jan Nouwen of  BASF, who has moved to North America and is replaced on the Management Committee by Stefanie Demming, Senior Vice President Isocyanates & Precursors Europe.
