The 2025-2026 Chlor-Alkali Industry Review has just been launched on the occasion of Euro Chlor’s Annual General Assembly on 10 September 2026.

This year the publication explains how the past year has tested the resilience of Europe’s Chlor-Alkali industry, leading to competitiveness becoming a central focus of our work. This is explained in the first introduction piece from Markus Mingenbach, Chair of the Management Committee, while Euro Chlor Director, Richy Mariner, outlines in the second introduction piece how the Euro Chlor team and committees have been working to stay the course as a strong and engaged community.

The Industry Review publication, first produced more 30 years ago, covers the most important industry information from the past year. This year’s edition starts by reminding readers of our Mid-Century Strategy (MCS) at a glance, with the following chapters giving the latest highlights from the four MCS priorities of Competitiveness, Safety, Climate Neutrality and Circularity, as well as the latest news on Communication. New sections this year feature a focus on EU Regulations and Initiatives relevant to our sector, a pulse check on Global Chlor-Alkali and a look forward to next year.
